Financing Questions

Chief's RV Center offers financing for our customers. We have a multitude of local and national lenders that specialize in recreational vehicle financing. Below are some questions and answers you may consider regarding your purchase.

  • Is no money down financing available?

Yes! No money down financing is available. However banks will consider your credit rating and the unit being purchased in their decision making process.

  • Can I delay or defer the first payment due date?

Yes! In most cases you may defer your first payment up to ninety days without incurring an interest rate increase. In some instances, longer deferment periods are possible.

  • Is it possible to "Right Off" the interest pay on an RV loan?

Yes! The government requires that the RV be self-contained and you are not currently deducting interest on a second home. Please consult with your tax specialist for verification and how you may benefit.

  • What will my interest rate be?

Interest rates usually depend on the following factors:
Credit Rating - Excellent credit may lower the rate.
Down Payment - Lenders usually require 10% down.
Balance of Loan - A higher balance may lower the rate.
Term of Loan - Longer terms may lower the rate.

  • How long may I finance my purchase?

RV lenders have a wide range of term possibilities. Terms may range from as little as thirty-six months to, in some instances 240 month terms. Terms may be dependent on your credit history and the amount be requested..

  • Are there any added fees associated with utilizing one of Chief's RV preferred RV lenders?

No! We provide financing options for our customers as a matter of service and convience.

  • I have less than perfect credit. Can I still get financing for an RV purchase?

Yes! We have lenders that specialize in those that may have credit challenges. You may be subject to larger down payment requirements, term restrictions and higher interest rates.
