Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. debuted the T@DA travel
trailer (right) – a larger companion product to the
diminutive T@B (left) that Dutchmen builds in the U.S.
under a European license – during the 45th Annual
National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. The T@DA “microlite” is
available in two 18-foot floorplans with a dry weight of
2,121 pounds, about 400 pounds heavier than the T@B. Both
products can be towed by most SUVs and pickup trucks. With
a more oval appearance than the T@B, T@DA has additional
sleeping space and a wet bath while keeping T@B's look
with bold-colored trim. “We know that the market
is moving toward lightweight vehicles, and we've seen consistent
growth since we introduced T@B six years ago,” said
Joe Hosinski, marketing director for the Goshen, Ind.,
Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary. Typically equipped, T@DA
retails from $17,900, compared to the T@B, which is available
in four 16-foot floorplans, from $15,750.
